iMovie 09 sucks ass, what happen to all video effects? There’s none, compare to iMovie HD like lighthing, fog rain and other effeects! There no cool effects on iMovie 09

It has nifty features. I especially like the stabilization, but that timeline is terrible. The old iMovie used to have an option between looking at your timeline as clips or as an actual timeline and this one only lets you see them as clips… and it folds under like your reading a book. WTF?
ooking for some help!! in my spare time i like to play guitar and record a few covers i recently bought an imac with this imovie 09 and im struggling to sync up video to my music but im a simpleton when it comes to editing. i know this is vague but if any one could find the time to have a look at what ive done and offer suggestions i would massively appreciate. or you are in need of a project i would happily supply some music and video footage for you to make a video for me?
@JackElf1 if you use it than once you add sounds they are shown right under the clip.
imovie 09 is the easiest most amazing thing i have ever used to edit. it is so great.
