@cenkaetaya1 Yes the trackpoint is very easy and effective…I have a Dell and IBM z50 with trackpoints…excellent response and quick enough.

  • sparkdetect:

I think this may be the one for me.

  • ThinkLearnSolve:

I didn’t watch any videos, but browsing on Wi-Fi is decent with around 4hrs. I have an SSD on it thought. The CPU on the thing is preatty weak thought, it can’t do HD contrary with what was said on the review :(

  • CatchupzZz:

  • Aldaraia666:

@kinesis420 Agreed, its the perfect combination of aesthetics and stability. Windows Vista just fails utterly.

  • kinesis420:

Wow dude you got to be kidding me, Windows 7 owns the hell out of XP. I will never go back to that PoS crap.

  • gn3ricc:

Arrg, so long to receive the french-canadian version of this laptop.

  • ThinkLearnSolve:

hmm, is the battery life so low? I think you mentioned 2-3h at the lowest CPU speed?

  • netbooked:

@jackffm at normal speed it is quite good (can play HL2, WoW at native res) but on the lowest battery setting it is quite sluggish.

  • netbooked:

@MainlyFlames If you’re not worried about battery life then I do recommend it.

  • jackffm:

    is it too slow ?

    it looks quite slow

  • netbooked:

@jackffm yes, there is that BIOS option, I checked.

  • jackffm:

is it possible to switch FN / CTRL key by BIOS?

  • MainlyFlames:

really thinking of buying a netbook to take with me to uni, would you recommend the X100E?

  • ninetynine123:

    @AfterFoodcookies
AMD is much worse than Intel in mobile processors (more heat, lower battery life, but often for better speed at cheaper prices). ATI is much better than Intel in mobile graphics in performance (higher heat, lower batterylife). So the AMD+ATI combo has pros and cons. But over all it’s too complicated to just say one is better than the other.

  • froggio:

    so ugly

  • breaker0021:

    nice – enjoy the unit!
