I love mass effect 2, mostly because my comp can handle it on max settings, which is odd considering it had trouble running the first game.

playing as vanguard is really cool but at insane difficulty is almost imposible
@PHT066 Infiltrator would be your best bet for highest difficulties, Vanguard for lower difficulties and straight up fun.
I haven’t started playing this yet and I’m in doubt between Vanguard and Infiltrator, which is the best?
This is how much fun a vanguard is designed to be. Unfortunately I decided not to play one until I attacked Insanity. Although all the pain i went through ducking for cover as a vanguard payed off once I got to the reaper IFF mission. Easily the most exciting class in the game.

@roman11777 or you can hold down the wheel and it says underneath to hotkey it. with the RB, LB, and or Y.
Hold the wheel down for longer and you’ll see it.
if i tried this on insanity mode i would have been fucked. this almost looks like more fun.

@jarenwhitehouse the way you can tell is if the enemies have shields. The higher the difficulty the more enemies you have with shields, armor and barrier.
@jarenwhitehouse It was on normal, I had the game a week or so before it was out and wanted to beat it on normal first, I beat it on insane later on.
Is this on “casual” difficulty or is the vangaurd just a really awesome class? There’s moments when you’re up close being wailed on by 3 guys and not dying. Even on normal mode that would get an infiltrator or adept in trouble (and I’m speaking here from experience)

@LYCANS4EVER I don’t know, I beat the game before it was released so I didn’t have access to DLC, but I really liked the claymore shotgun.
what do you think is best? claymore or eviscerator???

It’s the claymore shotgun, you get it in the abandoned reaper/collector ship about halfway through the game
